About Us

Hi, I’m Jennifer, and my husband is Fong. We are the owners of Flower Day Farm. I’m so excited to share a bit about who we are, how our journey began, and where we hope to take this business in the future. I’m a mom to our beautiful children, June and Raymond, a wife, a digital marketer, and a farmer-florist.

Our love for farming started early. We’re children of Hmong immigrants who came to the United States as refugees after the Vietnam War. Farming has always been a part of our family’s story. In Laos, it was a way of life for our parents, and when they came to the U.S. with very little, they carried with them what they knew best—farming. Through hard work, they rebuilt their lives, found stability, and provided for us in a new country.

They started a business growing vegetables and flowers, and we grew up right alongside them. I remember the early days at the farmers markets, arranging flowers, and working in the fields. Our parents' resilience and dedication continue to inspire us and are a big part of why we love and appreciate flowers so much.

In 2019, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fong and I had a moment of realization that we wanted to do something more fulfilling. By 2021, that dream became a reality when we found the perfect 10-acre property in Monroe, WA. It had everything we needed: a beautiful home, farm land, and a wonderful community to raise our family. Since then, Fong is now a full-time farmer and stay-at-home dad, while I spend my free time after work growing and arranging bouquets for our customers to enjoy.

Farming hasn’t been easy—it’s requires dedication and hard labor to ensure everything grows. In our first year, we sold flowers at our farm stand and knew we needed more ways to reach the community. By 2024, we expanded to selling at the Duvall and Monroe Farmers Markets, joined a CSA program, and began supplying fresh flowers to other cities and Metropolitan Market. We’ve also started offering flowers for weddings and bulk orders, which has been an exciting way to see our business grow.

We're passionate about growing flowers, raising our children to appreciate the outdoors, and connecting with nature through our work. It brings us joy to share flowers with our community.

We’re incredibly grateful for your support and can’t wait to see what’s next for our little farm. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay updated on our journey.

Thank you for being part of our story!
